Often sung at birthdays and name days in Poland much like the “Happy Birthday” song in the United States,
“Sto Lat” is more versatile as it can be also heard at special events and occasions such as anniversaries, patriotic events and award ceremonies.
Sto lat („Hundert Jahre”) ist ein traditionelles polnisches Lied, das der besungenen Person gute Wünsche ausdrücken soll. Ursprung und Autor des Liedes sind unbekannt.
